1) Why did you choose A Level Media Studies?
The reason I chose A level Media Studies is because it was one of my GCSE subjects that I highly enjoyed and wanted to go further into as it interests me.

2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)?
I took GCSE Media Studies here at GHS.

3) If you answered yes to Q2, what grade did you achieve in GCSE Media? What coursework tasks did you complete? What would you say your strengths and weaknesses were in GCSE Media?
I achieved a B overall in GCSE Media and I also completed all tasks. One of my strengths in Media was that I understood the terminology well and could apply it properly into my coursework. A weakness was that I would sometimes go over the deadline for certain things which slowed me down but I'd say in Year 11 I became a lot more serious about meeting deadlines on time

4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media?
The grade i'm aiming for in A level Media is an A or above as it is what I wanted in GCSE but missed it by a small margin.

5) What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work?
Currently I am thinking about applying to go to a University that suits me after A levels

6) What do you think the biggest media story of 2018 has been and why?
The biggest story in my opinion is the Colin Kaepernick Nike outrage as it has really sparked up across all media platforms and is still ongoing.

7) What media sources do you use to find out about news and current affairs?
The media sources I use to find out about news and current affairs are: Twitter Instagram but mostly Twitter.

8) What was the last film you watched?
The last film I watched was Avengers Infinity war (best film of the year)

9) What is your favourite ever TV series?
My favourite TV series is The Fresh Prince of Bel Air

10) How many hours do you spend online in an average day? Is this too little, too much or about right? Why?
Maybe about 3-5 hours per day which i'd say is about right but edging close to too much as it gives me a good insight on the world i'm living in and allows me to understand a lot more topics but it also may be too much time focused on the wrong thing.
