Newspapers
  • Which daily newspapers (if any) do you read?
       The newspaper that I read is the Daily Mail
  • What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why?
  The section I always turn to first is the sports section to catch up on all the latest football news
  • What sections do you never read, and why?
  I don't go to the fashion sections as it's not something that interests me and I also don't think it is               targeted to the audience I fit into
  • What kinds of stories do you usually read and why?
The stories I will always read are ones to do with: Sport, Showbiz
  • Do you, or someone else, buy the newspaper you read?
Somebody else usually buys the newspaper I read
  • Do you look at the online versions of any newspapers? Which newspapers? Why do you visit their website and not others?
No I don't use the online versions of newspapers I usually just read them straight from the paper.

Magazines
  • What magazines (if any) do you buy regularly?  Why
I'm not really a magazine person so I don't read them
  • What sections of the magazines do you read and not read, and why?

Television
  • Approximately how many hours a week do you spend watching television?
I spend about maybe 4 hours watching television
  • What times of day do you usually watch television?
The times of day I watch television is in the afternoon and night. Sometimes I watch the occasional news in the morning before school.
  • What programmes do you like best and why?
I like game show programmes like The Chase, Tipping point and Catchphrase because they're entertaining and allow me to learn different things about the world. I do also enjoy reality programmes and cartoons still but not as much as I used to.
  • Do you watch alone or with others? If you watch with others, who decides what you will watch?
I watch programmes with my Mum most of the time and she usually decides what we watch but sometimes I will too.
  • Do you watch 'live' TV or on-demand/catch-up? Do you use any other devices to watch TV (such as laptop or tablet?)
I watch most TV shows live but if there is something I want to watch but it's not live i'll watch it on demand/catch-up. I only use the TV to watch programmes

Radio
  • Do you listen to the radio?
I only listen to the radio a little bit which is when i'm in the car with my Mum or Dad 
  • If yes, what stations do you like best and why?
I enjoy listening to Capital FM and the sports radio channels so I can listen to the football games that are going on
  • Approximately how many hours a week do you spend listening to the radio?
I barely spend an 1 hour listening
  • What times of the day do you usually listen to the radio?
2am-4am
  • Where do you listen to the radio?
In the car.
  • What other activities (if any) do you do whilst listening to the radio?
I'll browse social media on my phone.
  • Does anyone else in your house listen to the radio? If so, when do they listen?
My Mum and Dad listen to the radio when in the car driving to and from work or just when driving to different locations which can be at any time.

Cinema
  • What films have you seen in the cinema in the last month?
In the last month I have only watched The Incredibles 2

Avengers Infinity War, Justice League, Thor Ragnarok, Black Panther, Space Jam, Flatliners
  • Who else watched the films with you?
My Mum watched a few and my cousin and recently my older sister
  • Who decided what films to watch?
I decided all of them except Flatliners which was my sisters' pick
  • What devices do you typically use to watch films: TV, laptop, tablet, phone etc.?
I typically use the TV as it has films on demand but I also use my Laptop for Netflix

Online
  • How often do you access the internet?
I access the internet every day 
  • Where do you access the internet?  At home, at college or school, or at work?
I access the internet mostly at home but at most places as well because of mobile data
  • What are the main sites that you access?
The main sites I access are 9anime, animeheaven, Youtube, Instagram and Twitter
  • What are the main reasons for accessing these sites – for example, for information, to make purchases, communicate with friends or for entertainment?
I use all these sites for entertainment.
  • What other activities (if any) do you do whilst accessing the internet?
I enjoy listening to music whilst accessing the internet.
  • What different devices do you use to access the internet? What is your primary device for accessing the internet?
My primary device is my smartphone and I occasionally use my Laptop
  • What social networks do you use regularly (e.g. Twitter, Instagram)? Why do you belong to these networks in particular?
I use Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat all the time as I keep up with all the stuff that goes on in the world and around me and I can also contact my friends and family by using them too. Plus I can share my views on different things and post pictures and videos too.

Reflection
  • How can you develop the amount and variety of media you consume?
By switching up what I may usually watch on TV as well as reaching to more people to learn what they use too.
  • What will you change in your media consumption habits this year as a result of studying A Level Media?
I will watch more television programmes and spend more time listening to the radio as I don't do that enough as I should
  • List three sources of media (websites/newspapers/apps/TV programmes etc.) that you will start to access this year that you haven't engaged with previously.
I'll start using buzzfeed more as well as reading the Sun and I'll watch different TV genres.
